{"id":332,"date":"2014-03-03T14:12:20","date_gmt":"2014-03-03T19:12:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/?p=332"},"modified":"2014-03-03T14:12:20","modified_gmt":"2014-03-03T19:12:20","slug":"week-of-march-3-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/2014\/03\/03\/week-of-march-3-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of March 3, 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What fun we are having with the number 100!! \u00a0In fact, we are going to continue our 100th day activities over to tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>READING-Our theme this week is\u00a0<strong>Seasons.<\/strong> \u00a0We will talk about the weather and temperatures in each season.<\/p>\n<p>WRITING-Our letter is\u00a0<strong>B \u00a0b<\/strong> \u00a0and words are\u00a0<strong>and \u00a0 what<\/strong>. \u00a0We will be writing about seasons.<\/p>\n<p>SOCIAL STUDIES-We will discuss seasonal jobs, like raking leaves in the fall, having a lemonade stand in the summer.<\/p>\n<p>Since March is Reading Month and Howard School&#8217;s theme is &#8220;Wild About Reading,&#8221; \u00a0we will be reading about wild animals. \u00a0Today we read a story about a bear and then went on to make a chart of things that we already know about bears.<\/p>\n<p>Look for some homework coming home tonight. \u00a0Due tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for your help and support on the home front.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m looking forward to another busy, fun week.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Smith<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What fun we are having with the number 100!! \u00a0In fact, we are going to continue our 100th day activities over to tomorrow.
