Things are really clicking, as they always do in the spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our first SPELLING TEST went pretty well today.  Please have your child <strong>write <\/strong>each word as you test them on the words.  Make sure &#8220;<strong>p&#8221;<\/strong> &#8220;<strong>b&#8221; <\/strong>&#8220;<strong>d&#8221;<\/strong> and all letters are going in the correct direction and not backwards.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next week&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SPELLING   We&#8217;ll be working with the <strong>&#8220;un&#8221; <\/strong>chunk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>                      <strong>run  sun  fun  bun      has for  are you<\/strong> <strong>is<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BLENDS\/DIGRAPHS-  &#8220;l&#8221; blends continued<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PHONEMIC AWARENESS-short u<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>READING COMPREHENSION- <strong>Retelling in Sequence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GRAMMAR- Verbs (intro)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WRITING-Personal Narrative<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MATH-Lessons 23-24 Assessment and review<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SCIENCE-Severe Weather<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have a lovely weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Love a little more each day.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Boy, do I have some readers and writers in here!!
