Fridays will be our SPELLING TEST day.  Help your student be successful by reviewing the words each night.  Have them spell the words back to you AND write the words.  Sometimes students can spell\/say the word, but don&#8217;t know how to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">write<\/span> the word.  Also, for the word <strong>&#8220;he,&#8221;<\/strong> make sure your child is writing an &#8220;<strong>h&#8221;<\/strong> and not and &#8220;n.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Happy Birthday today, March 2 to Dr. Geisel, aka &#8220;Dr. Seuss. (It&#8217;s also one of my daughters&#8217; birthday and she NEVER cared for Dr. Seuss&#8217; books because they didn&#8217;t make sense to her. ) Students will bring home something tomorrow about Dr. Seuss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">number sentences<\/span> to go with Subtraction Problems today was a little rough.  I told them that Subtraction always starts with the biggest number.  They&#8217;ll get it&#8230;just takes time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have a good week and start filling out the Reading slips for the home reading.  They are on the &#8220;Say <em>Aloha <\/em>to a Good Book&#8221; slip.
