I am pleased with the reading strategies that they are using with their reading&#8230;like looking at the pictures, making beginning sounds, pushing through the words, flipping vowels, skipping a word and going on to see if they can figure out a word, remembering phonics rules, like &#8220;when 2 vowels go walking, the first one does the talking&#8221;  as in &#8220;heat&#8221;   <strong>e a <\/strong>go walking, but only <strong>e <\/strong>does the talking, and <strong>e<\/strong> at the end of a word makes the vowel long, as in cap<strong>e<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks for the help and support at home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tomorrow is LATE START and Library Books are due.
