What blossoming readers, writers, and mathematicians I have in here!\u00a0 I know they are having a blast by the enthusiasm and their voice level-wonderful to watch and be a part of their learning.<\/p>\n

Here’s next week…<\/p>\n

THEME-“Making the World a Better Place.”<\/p>\n

READING- We’ll focus on\u00a0Retelling with Beginning, Middle, and End.<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 Have a go at it at home with stories that you read together.<\/em><\/p>\n

WRITING-We’ll read about Martin Luther King.\u00a0 They will be part of a group to make a POSTER about how we can each make the world a better place.<\/p>\n

PHONICS- long\u00a0o\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0 as in “o<\/strong>pen”\u00a0 “o<\/strong>ver”\u00a0 “po<\/strong>lar”<\/p>\n

MATH-We’ll be comparing numerals.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 “1\u00a0 is less than\u00a0 7.”\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0“4\u00a0 < 8\u00a0 ”\u00a0 They seem to understand “greater than” but are having some difficulty with “less than.”<\/p>\n
