{"id":2682,"date":"2019-01-08T08:35:37","date_gmt":"2019-01-08T13:35:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/?p=2682"},"modified":"2019-01-08T09:18:02","modified_gmt":"2019-01-08T14:18:02","slug":"week-of-january-7-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/2019\/01\/08\/week-of-january-7-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of January 7, 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy New Year!\u00a0 I hope you all had a relaxing and fun filled 2 weeks with your loved ones.\u00a0 I spent my days with my sisters and their families and, of course, my 3 daughters, sons-in-law, and my 6 grandkids!\u00a0 Lots of music, games, laughter, stories, and eating.<\/p>\n<p>I was so happy to see all of my kids yesterday. ( In fact, I woke up at 2:30 AM and was ready to go to school!) I knew that they would have a lot to tell me.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s our week&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>This week, I will choose 5 students each day to go down to the office and lead the entire school in reciting The Pledge of Allegiance and The Howard School Pledge.\u00a0 They speak into the microphone, stating their name, and then say the Pledges.
