What a great 2 weeks of conferences with my parents!\u00a0 Thank you for making the time to attend.\u00a0 Getting involved in your child’s education is so important.<\/p>\n
Next week is a short week.\u00a0 Here we go…<\/p>\n
Please take these next few days to practice reading and writing ALL of the words that we have had so far.\u00a0 Not sure what those words are?\u00a0 Go back through my blogs.\u00a0 Letters and their sounds should be mastered too.\u00a0 Have your child create sentences and then have them write the sentences.\u00a0 Practice, Practice, Practice!<\/p>\n
Today we finished writing another book!\u00a0 That makes about 15 books your child has made in here…very impressive for Kindergarten.\u00a0 The book is an “Informational Book about Turkeys.”\u00a0 Enjoy listening to your child read the book.<\/p>\n
READING AND WRITING-We’ll be making a Thankful Book.\u00a0 It will go home on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
MATH-I will be assessing the students on 2D and 3D shapes.\u00a0 Geometry<\/p>\n
SCIENCE-We’ll add more to our WEATHER information.<\/p>\n
Next week we’ll play some Word Bingo and have fun with learning and being together.\u00a0 We’ll talk about the Pilgrims and maybe make something appropriate.\u00a0 Next week I’ll send home the “Thankful Turkeys” that we made yesterday.\u00a0 The feathers were to be glued\u00a0behind\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>the turkey.\u00a0 Some had trouble with this\u00a0MATH<\/strong> concept.\u00a0 Remember last week when we were working with “POSITIONAL WORDS?”\u00a0 Here’s where I inserted them into a project. “Glue the feathers\u00a0behind<\/strong><\/em> the turkey.”<\/p>\n I’m having such fun days with my class.\u00a0 I am very Thankful for each one of them.<\/p>\n Enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family.<\/p>\n Mrs. Smith<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" What a great 2 weeks of conferences with my parents!\u00a0 Thank you for making the time to attend.\u00a0 Getting involved in your child’s education is so important.
