A big welcome to all incoming Kindergarteners!!! I am excited that you will be here this year.\u00a0 I have lots of fun things planned, new learning to master and new friends to meet.<\/p>\n
Our first week we will have “SOFT START.”\u00a0 SOFT START means that we will have half days for the first week.\u00a0 So, our schedule will look like:<\/p>\n
Monday, 8\/27 8:35-11:45 am<\/p>\n
Tuesday, 8\/28-8\/30 8:35-12:00 pm<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday students will have the opportunity to bring their lunch or purchase a lunch from our cafeteria.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival on Monday, 8\/27, I will have a signup sheet for you to choose a time when I can meet with your child during the afternoons of the Soft Start Week for a brief assessment.\u00a0 Thank you in advance for bring your child.<\/p>\n
Full day Kindergarten will begin on Tuesday, September 4th.\u00a0 8:35-3:35.\u00a0 Because there will be many Kindergarteners dismissing at the same time, we stagger dismissal times.\u00a0 I will be dismissing my class at 3:25, Ms. Polgar at 3:30, Ms. Mohamed at 3:35.<\/p>\n

Thursday, Sept. 13 OPEN HOUSE\u00a0 6:00-7:30 pm\u00a0 All families are welcome to come and visit classrooms.<\/p>\n

I usually post on my blog at least once a week to let families know what’s coming up for the following week and reminders for planning, etc.<\/p>\n

The room is all set.\u00a0 I can’t wait to meet my new Kindergarteners!!<\/p>\n
