Another week has come and gone and we were so busy that I forgot to post my blog!! Sorry!<\/p>\n

Here’s what’s coming up this week…<\/p>\n

READING-Sea Creatures\u00a0 \u00a0<\/em>We’re starting with\u00a0SHARKS<\/strong> today.<\/p>\n

WRITING-Informational Writing about Sea Creatures\u00a0 \u00a0<\/em>We’ll be gathering information about the creatures of the sea, organizing the information, use proper grammar and punctuation, etc for this week’s writing.<\/p>\n

I will be giving them a lot of information and, as always, I will be checking for\u00a0comprehension.<\/strong><\/p>\n

SPELLING-\u00a0“ad”\u00a0<\/strong>chunk words\u00a0\u00a0Dad\u00a0<\/strong>(MUST begin with\u00a0\u00a0a capital letter, it’s a name), mad, sad, glad, pad, bad, lad, tad\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 him\u00a0 \u00a0his<\/strong><\/p>\n

MATH-In anticipation and preparation for NWEA (week of May 14) I will be doing reviews of several MATH concepts, units, etc.\u00a0 This week I will be reviewing addition and subtraction problems and I will be stressing to\u00a0\u00a0check the sign.<\/u><\/i>\u00a0Look for the\u00a0+\u00a0 or –\u00a0<\/strong>sign.<\/p>\n
