Book Bags-remember to keep reading every night with your child.\u00a0 This is so important.\u00a0 Have them read to Grandma, Grandpa, stuffed animals, their dog, parakeet, the neighbor’s cat, the mailman, UPS guy, anybody…<\/p>\n
MARCH IS READING MONTH begins today.\u00a0 I sent home a packet of information.\u00a0 Today I traced their hand and arm, they decorated them, and I posted them on my bulletin board titled “REACHING FOR GOLD.”\u00a0 The hands and arms look like they are reaching upward.<\/p>\n
Yesterday a dear friend and neighbor of mine brought in some earthworms.\u00a0 Boy, did I go off the grid with those worms.\u00a0 First we created a chart identifying\u00a0What we know about<\/strong> worms<\/strong><\/em> and\u00a0What we want to know about worms.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Their questions were amazing!\u00a0 We explored and researched all of our questions and we now know a lot about Earthworms!\u00a0 I took some pictures of the kids with the worms, as well as a picture of our chart, but the pictures are somehow NOT sending to my computer.\u00a0 I will keep trying because they were so engaged.\u00a0 Needless to say, they follow\u00a0 up writing was wonderful.<\/p>\n 2 more days until the 100th day of Kindergarten.
