READING: We will be starting a new unit about\u00a0ANIMALS.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>We will begin with\u00a0Polar Bears.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>We will be exploring facts about their APPEARANCE, HABITAT, FOOD, etc.\u00a0 We will be doing a lot of writing facts about the animal, which will be used to\u00a0compare and contrast<\/em> with a different animal next week.\u00a0 Stay tuned.<\/p>\n

SPELLING:We will begin weekly SPELLING TESTS.\u00a0 The words for next week are from the “at” family.\u00a0 (We’ll start very slowly.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 )\u00a0\u00a0at\u00a0 bat\u00a0 fat\u00a0 rat\u00a0 come\u00a0 said<\/strong>\u00a0 Please start working NOW on the words at home.<\/p>\n

WRITING:Polar Bear facts and discoveries.<\/p>\n

MATH-We will begin piloting a new MATH program.\u00a0 I am pleased with what I see and am really looking forward to working with this new program.<\/p>\n
