WRITING-Informational<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 I am going to tie this writing into our SCIENCE UNIT about\u00a0WEATHER.<\/strong><\/p>\n LETTERS AND WORDS-ALL students should know our sight words.\u00a0 Look back on my previous BLOGS to find the words.\u00a0 \u00a010 words so far.\u00a0 Remember to check for Capital letters at the beginning of sentences.\u00a0 For example, using the word\u00a0“the<\/strong><\/em>” will be capitalized if it is the first word of a sentence.<\/p>\n The<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>store is open.\u00a0 or\u00a0 I can go to\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>store.<\/p>\n MATH-We will be orally creating, drawing, and writing “number stories.”\u00a0 You may remember them as “story problems.”\u00a0 Another opportunity for reading and writing!\u00a0 This is another example of how important reading is in our every day life.<\/p>\n SCIENCE-Weather\u00a0 \u00a0We started a WEATHER GRAPH.\u00a0 So far, we have 1 cloudy day, 1 rainy day, and 1 sunny day filled in on our graph.<\/p>\n Our days continue to be filled with happiness and excitement in here.\u00a0 On a personal note-I have a former Kindergarten student, now in Middle school,\u00a0 who is in the hospital for her 31st surgery.\u00a0 I always go to be with her when she is in the hospital and being with her always reminds me of how grateful we are for good health.\u00a0 I know you parents feel the same way.<\/p>\n Have a beautiful weekend.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mrs. Smith<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Look at this year…flying by!\u00a0 We are already into November!
