Another great week coming up!\u00a0 Tomorrow is our All School Halloween Parade at 1:30.\u00a0 My Homeroom moms have organized party goodies to be sent in and we’ll enjoy the treats later in the afternoon.\u00a0 Thanks Mrs. Saleh and Mrs. Hassan.<\/p>\n

READING-We will continue with our unit on Friends.\u00a0 This week’s theme is\u00a0Friends All Around.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

WRITING-Narrative Writing<\/strong> (Story ).\u00a0 all stories have a\u00a0Beginning, Middle, and an End.<\/strong>\u00a0 As you have conversations at home\/in the car\/waiting for soccer practice, etc. , make up a story with your child.\u00a0 Identify the\u00a0beginning, middle and end\u00a0<\/strong>of your story.\u00a0 Do the same when you read together at night….”What happened at the\u00a0beginning of the story?”<\/strong>\u00a0 Make sure it’s just the\u00a0beginning event<\/strong>, and not a retelling of the entire story.\u00a0 (Retelling is for another week.)<\/p>\n

Our writing stem will be “I can go to a _________.”<\/strong>\u00a0 We will use our new<\/u>\u00a0words and words that we already know.<\/p>\n

WORDS-Go\u00a0 go<\/strong><\/p>\n

LETTERS-H\u00a0 h\u00a0 \u00a0I\u00a0 i\u00a0 \u00a0F\u00a0 f<\/strong><\/p>\n

MATH-We will introduce a new manipulative…”rack.”\u00a0 The kids will enjoy them.\u00a0 Here is a picture of a rack.<\/p>\n

Have fun tomorrow night with your Trick of Treaters!!\u00a0 I’ll probably be out with 3 of my little granddaughters.\u00a0 Every day is such fun and a blessing.\u00a0 Enjoy each one.<\/p>\n
