What a great field trip yesterday!\u00a0 Thanks to all parents who chaperoned and to\u00a0 weather for cooperating.\u00a0 I have been visiting\u00a0 that zoo all of my life and yesterday was the first day that I had seen some of those animals up and moving about!\u00a0 We took quite a bit of time this morning to share favorite animals and surprises about some of them.\u00a0 Interesting conversations.<\/p>\n

Moving on with the day, we were extremely busy-wow!<\/p>\n

We wrote an 8 page book!\u00a0 Writing an 8 page book in Kindergarten is quite a feat.\u00a0 The book is in their BOOK BOX and I’d like to leave it there for a few days.\u00a0 They are very proud of their work.\u00a0 Lots of writing of this week’s words\u00a0see\u00a0 a .\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>End of sentence punctuation, Spaces between words, stretching out words and listening to sounds that our mouths are saying so we know what letter to write.\u00a0 Even just keeping up with the lesson is an opportunity to perform well.\u00a0 Spacing is another text feature.\u00a0 Here is a sample of a book.\u00a0 Thanks for sharing your book Zahraa.<\/p>\n

then is Science, we had a great experiment about\u00a0Sink or Float??<\/strong>\u00a0 They had to make an\u00a0Hypothesis<\/strong> about 6 different items.\u00a0 Then we did the experiment.\u00a0 We\u00a0observed<\/strong> our findings and lastly we\u00a0recorded our findings.<\/strong>\u00a0 THEN, we tried to figure out\u00a0why<\/strong><\/em> some items sank and others floated.\u00a0 We were really confused when the tiny wooden block floated and so did the big wooden block, but the tiny paper clip and clip sank.\u00a0 the last item that we\u00a0investigated<\/strong><\/em> was the pumpkin.\u00a0 I’ll let them tell you the results and, the most important part…why???<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
