We have a short week but we will be busy in here! \u00a0Please help your child build responsibility by having them set up their own backpack every night before bed. \u00a0Have your child put in their library book, shoes, etc. \u00a0By having them put things in their backpack they know what’s in the backpack as well as being responsible. \u00a0Then in the morning they just add their lunch.<\/p>\n

SOCIAL STUDIES-I have finished Social Studies assessments for our unit on Goods\/Services, how we learn about things in the past, and trading. \u00a0The results were terrific! \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
READING-I will continue with the Mid-Year Reading Assessments. \u00a0We will also be finishing our unit about Animals.<\/p>\n
WRITING-We will continue with Opinion Writing, using the Writing Process of:<\/p>\n
1. Making a plan<\/p>\n
2 Prewrite<\/p>\n
3. Edit\/Revising<\/p>\n
4. Publish<\/p>\n
The students are doing very well with this process. \u00a0They are using their reading words and doing a great job of “stretching out” (sounding out) words.<\/p>\n
SCIENCE-We will be touching on Weather.<\/p>\n
Such wonderful growth in the academics and such wonderful kindness in their actions and thoughts toward others. \u00a0These are tomorrow’s future leaders—we are going to be well led!<\/p>\n
