What great, productive days we are having in here!\u00a0 We hit all of the subjects every day and I ask the students at the end of the day, ‘What did we learn about today in _____?”\u00a0 I’m looking for recall and comprehension, both good skills for learning.<\/p>\n

Yesterday we worked with the letter “L l” ( a paper came home with a word web of 4 words that begin with “l.”)\u00a0 Today we worked with the word “like.”\u00a0 More work with that tomorrow and we will add the letter “P p.”<\/p>\n

In Science we made a tongue today and labeled the parts of the tongue for\u00a0taste.<\/strong>\u00a0 Tomorrow we will finish with the sense of\u00a0touch.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Math we are working with 10 frames, creating numbers on the frames and then writing the number.\u00a0 We’re getting very good at recognizing what the 10 frame represents.<\/p>\n

In Writing, we are working on\u00a0Opinion Writing.<\/strong> ( It fits with the word ‘like.”\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 )<\/p>\n

Keep up with the words that we have already learned.\u00a0 Students are expected to read and write those words…I\u00a0 Can\u00a0 can\u00a0 The\u00a0 the\u00a0 We\u00a0 we\u00a0 like<\/strong><\/p>\n

BOOK BAGS-Each student has a book bag.\u00a0 Please begin sending in the BOOK BAGS on the designated day indicated in their bag.\u00a0 Read EVERY night with your child.. Some books will be easier that others.<\/p>\n
