Our first full week of school has started and all was well. \u00a0We had 14 things listed on our Class Agenda and we accomplished them all!<\/p>\n

We began our day with 2 new “visitors” in our room. \u00a0We have a caterpillar and a chrysalis! Both are now in our Science area for close viewing. \u00a0The students are VERY excited. \u00a0The caterpillar eats Milkweed leaves only and we are enjoying watching him eat the leaves.<\/p>\n

The chrysalis should be forming a “J” in the next 3-4 days and will start shaking and shedding it’s skin. \u00a0Hopefully we will have a Monarch Butterfly when it hatches. \u00a0We even know how to tell if it is a boy or a girl! \u00a0We are enjoying being Scientists.<\/p>\n

READING-High Frequency words for this week are “I” \u00a0“can.” \u00a0 Look for these words to come home on their papers.<\/p>\n

MATH-Number Awareness 0-5 and Pattern Blocks<\/p>\n

SCIENCE-Caterpillars, Butterflies, and BEING A SCIENTIST!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
