READING-Traveling Near and Far\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>is out Theme.<\/p>\n COMPREHENSION STRATEGY-Recognizing Text Structure<\/p>\n COMPREHENSION SKILL-Classify and Categorize<\/p>\n LETTER-I \u00a0i<\/strong><\/p>\n WORD-Go \u00a0go<\/strong><\/p>\n WRITING-making a chart about vehicles that travel On land, On Water, In the Air<\/p>\n MATH-Probability<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Please take this weekend opportunity to make sure your child has mastered all of the Sight Words that we have had so far. \u00a0They should know how to spell<\/span> and read<\/span> the words. \u00a0Check my previous blogs for the words. \u00a0Also check for LETTERS that we have done. \u00a0They should be able to create new words, using the letters that we know. \u00a0For example…<\/p>\n With the new letter\u00a0I i\u00a0<\/strong> we can spell and write\u00a0it \u00a0is (<\/strong>because we’ve already had\u00a0s)<\/strong><\/p>\n tip \u00a0sit \u00a0pit \u00a0<\/strong>etc.<\/p>\n Make letter\/word cards and use those cards to create new words. \u00a0Words then become sentences and sentences become stories\/paragraphs<\/p>\n Keep a running list of the words on the refrigerator and have your child read the list every time they pass by the list.
