WOW…remember back in September when I told you that the year would fly by??!! \u00a0Well, here we are arriving at the last week of school and what a fun and successful year we have had.<\/p>\n

We’ll finish the year with some SCIENCE and WRITING about things they are requesting. \u00a0Today we made a chart about FROGS.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 FROGS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0have \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0can \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 are<\/strong><\/p>\n

We wrote down several items under each heading. \u00a0Then, using the list of information, they wrote 4 sentences, combining 2 items from the chart. \u00a0For example,<\/p>\n

Frogs\u00a0have\u00a0<\/strong>smooth skin and\u00a0can\u00a0<\/strong>jump far and fast.<\/p>\n

Frogs\u00a0can\u00a0<\/strong>stick to trees and\u00a0are\u00a0<\/strong>amphibians.<\/p>\n

They did a fantastic job of pulling facts from the chart and writing a non-fiction (Informational) piece about FROGS. \u00a0They are such wonderful authors. I’m very proud of them.<\/p>\n

Monday-FIELD DAY \u00a0A note went home about this on Monday. \u00a0Students need to wear gym shoes<\/span>! \u00a0We will be \u00a0playing games outside all morning. \u00a0Sunscreen is a good idea too.<\/p>\n

Wednesday-Our class Picnic \u00a0A note from my Homeroom Moms went home. \u00a0TIME CHANGE-11:00-12:00<\/strong><\/em>. \u00a0<\/span>My class has GYM at 12:00 and the kids want to go to gym for their last class time. \u00a0Lunch will be provided! \u00a0Thank you parents!<\/p>\n

Thursday-Half Day \u00a0am only \u00a0Dismissal-11:45<\/p>\n
