I hope you all enjoyed your time with family, friends, and food. \u00a0I spent time with my family and celebrated our anniversary by seeing “Jersey Boys.” \u00a0Wonderful days, just like every day.<\/p>\n

READING-Our theme for the next 3 weeks, Unit 4, is\u00a0FOOD.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This week’s focus will be Where Food Comes From.<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

READING STRATEGY-Summarize<\/strong><\/p>\n

READING SKILL-Sequence of Events<\/strong><\/p>\n

WORD-To \u00a0to<\/strong><\/p>\n

LETTER-N \u00a0n<\/b><\/p>\n

MATH-We will continue working up and down the number line with > \u00a0< \u00a0a given number.<\/p>\n

We will also work with Creating and Extending a Pattern.<\/p>\n

Home activity-Practice with > \u00a0< \u00a0a given number. \u00a0You don’t need any paper or pencil. \u00a0Ask, “What is a number > than 11?” \u00a0“A number 3 more than 16?”<\/p>\n

Also, do some Interrupted Counting\/Alphabet \u00a0“Give me the next 3 letters after L?” \u00a0 “Next 3 numbers after 42?”<\/p>\n

SOCIAL STUDIES-We will finish up\u00a0Goods and Services \u00a0Needs and Wants.<\/strong> \u00a0I will be assessing them next week on these concepts.<\/p>\n
