We celebrate another beautiful, warm week of Fall! \u00a0WOW!<\/p>\n

We will begin a new Unit in Reading.<\/p>\n

READING-TRANSPORTATION\u00a0<\/strong>is our\u00a0theme\u00a0<\/strong>for the next 3 weeks.<\/p>\n

Unit 1-“Getting Around Town” \u00a0We’ll talk about different vehicles.<\/p>\n

READING STRATEGY-Recognizing story structure<\/p>\n

READING SKILL-Making and Confirming Predictions<\/p>\n

WRITING-Writing a List (of vehicles that we see around town)<\/p>\n

MATH-Number Line \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0 Students will be moving along a giant Number Line, discovering numbers that are\u00a0greater than <\/strong>or\u00a0less than<\/strong> a given number. \u00a0For example,<\/p>\n

0__1__2__3__4__5__6__7__8__9__10__11__12__13__14__15__16__17__18__19__20<\/p>\n

“Tell me a number that is < 15.” \u00a0“Tell me a number that is > 4.”<\/p>\n

SOCIAL STUDIES-We’ll be talking about\u00a0Needs and Wants.<\/strong><\/p>\n
