She wants to be a teacher!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dear Snow Families,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope you are all safe and well!&nbsp; Teachers have collected and placed all student school belongings in a labeled bag.&nbsp; Please come to the Snow parking lot at your scheduled time on <strong>Tuesday, June 2<\/strong> to pick up your child\u2019s belongings, projects, your safari hat, a special gift from Mrs. Slater and packet of writing from this year.  If you have any medication for your child at Snow, our school nurse will be outside to distribute as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We will also have drop boxes for you to return items that belong to Snow such as books, book bags, library books, safety patrol belts, instruments&#8230;.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is the schedule:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Distribution Plan<\/strong><ul><li>Last Name beginning with <strong>A<\/strong>:&nbsp; 12:00pm-1:00pm<\/li><li>Last Name beginning with <strong>B-M<\/strong>:&nbsp; 1:00pm-2:00pm<\/li><li>Last Name beginning with <strong>N-Z<\/strong>:&nbsp; 2:00pm-3:00pm<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tables will be placed outside in the Snow parking lot.&nbsp; Please adhere to the schedule pick up times as we have over 400 supply bags to set up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Snow Team<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>OUR LAST WEEK OF ASSIGNMENTS!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">This week there will be 5 items that need to be done to get a <strong>Meeting <\/strong>Grade for the week. All of the items must be completed to get the <strong>Meeting<\/strong> Grade. This is the highest grade. The deadline for the completion of the below items is Saturday, June 6.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>I Ready<\/strong> (15 minutes a day) .  I will monitor the time online.<\/li><li><strong>Zearn math<\/strong> (2-3) lessons this week).  I will monitor the lessons online.<\/li><li><strong>Epic reading<\/strong> (15 minutes a day)  This time includes any books that I assign.  The assigned books or videos can be found in the mailbox at the top of the Epic home page.  I will monitor the books read and time spent reading online.<\/li><li><strong>Writing <\/strong> This week will be Opinion writing.  Prompt:  Do you like learning from school or learning from home better?  Send me your writing.<\/li><li><strong>Spelling Test <\/strong> Lesson 35. Pattern is words that have -er, -ir, -ur.    Final test score only. This list is difficult so when I give the bonus words I always refer the students to a list word to see the pattern used.  Example:  If you can spell shirt, can you spell skirt? Then students know the ir pattern should be used. Students may choose the list that they would like to study this week. Complete the activities on the assignment chart. Spelling test score can be sent to me by Saturday, June 6. There are 10 words and 5 bonus words. All of the words follow the pattern. My students have read for over 198 hours since we began using this site on March 25th. (This does not include the 201 educational videos watched). Our top reader is Adam, with a total of 212  books read. In second place is Violet with 209 books read. Third place is Rebeca  with 192 books read and Fourth place is Max with 190 books read. Keep on reading!
