{"id":286,"date":"2017-03-31T12:12:29","date_gmt":"2017-03-31T16:12:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/slater\/?p=286"},"modified":"2017-03-31T12:12:29","modified_gmt":"2017-03-31T16:12:29","slug":"spring-clean-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/slater\/2017\/03\/31\/spring-clean-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring Clean Up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>Calling All Spring Cleaners!<\/i><\/p>\n<p>As part of Snow Elementary\u00a0<i>Leader In Me<\/i>\u00a0Program, we are asking you, our fabulous students, to reach out in our community to help others.\u00a0 If you\u2019d like to be a part of the\u00a0<b>April Clean-Up Club<\/b>, simply volunteer to help clean-up a neighbor\u2019s, relative\u2019s or your very own yard. \u00a0\u201cClean-up\u201d could include pulling weeds, raking up leftover leaves and sticks from the fall, or picking up trash that has blown into the yard.\u00a0 Please be sure to have a parent with you and get permission of the community member before cleaning up.\u00a0 You are giving back to the community, so please offer to do this\u00a0<b>free of cost.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Each time you help clean-up someone\u2019s yard, write the date and color a square on the chart that is available to you from your classroom teacher.\u00a0 Once you have helped 5 members in the community, please return the chart to your teacher for acknowledgement of your leadership and kindness.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for consideration in being a part of our Snow School&#8217;s Giving Back Action Team!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Calling All Spring Cleaners!
