Schedule for the Week<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Supply Pick Up<\/strong>–December 9-11<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There will be a supply pick up this week Wednesday-Friday<\/strong> for Unit 4. Each child will have a snowflake bag<\/strong> to be picked up with all of the supplies to be used for the next 3 weeks of classes. This will bring us into January. The bags will be in the school lobby and can be picked up from 9:00am-3:00pm. Student names are on each bag. Please take only your child’s bag. <\/p>\n\n\n\n ITEMS TO BE TURNED IN:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Unit 2 Week 3 packet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Unit 3 Week 1 packet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Unit 3 Week 2 packet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Module 1 Math test <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n All reading books that have been read from student bookbags.<\/strong> Please put them into a plastic gallon baggie with the child’s name on the baggie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n ***Please be sure all student names are on each packet.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Do not<\/strong> turn in any Math books or Treasures books. All Thanksgiving projects may also stay home. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Place all completed packets into the bin labeled COMPLETED WORK<\/strong> and all baggies of books into the bin labeled SLATER’S BOOKS<\/strong>. The bins will be on the floor in the lobby next to the snowflake bags. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Learning Labs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Learning labs are still happening by zoom in the afternoon! Mrs. M also has lessons in the afternoon for her reading groups. Please make sure you know your child\u2019s day and time. I always announce the children who are meeting before we leave our afternoon session. I really appreciate your help in making sure they are on zoom on time and they have their books ready so we can start reading right away. This is your child\u2019s chance to practice their reading strategies in a small group, reading books on their level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Benchmark Books and Epic Books<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Students have a variety of books to read. They have reading books from my bookroom in their bookbags, a set of 3, (so far) Treasures basal books, Epic books on the Epic website, and Benchmark Books in the black folder in ELA Schoology. Students should be reading every night for at least 15 minutes. They may read from any of the above resources. Everly just past 100 books read on Epic books! Great job! Keep on reading!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I-READY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The I-Ready time has been increased to at least 20 minutes a day. I have noticed remarkable growth and progress in all of the student lessons this week! Please continue to use this tool every day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n ZEARN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n All students should be working on Module 2 lessons. There are still some students in Module 1. You may need to spend extra time to catch up to the class lessons.
