2/13

Today we reviewed 4-5, 4-6, and 4-4.  Tomorrow we will have a YARF quiz, go over the trig project, and have time to practice for the quiz Monday.

Don’t forget we’re meeting in Gorsline’s room (and she’s meeting in mine).

Today we talked about refraction.  We saw a lot of real examples of refraction in class and youtube videos.

If you have a video of the rubens tube last week, or anything today, please email it to me.  I’d love to see it.

Today you did a lab to investigate the functions of sin, cos, and tan.  We’re used to a coordinate plane, we’re starting to talk a lot about the unit circle, and today we started to see how we could combine those ideas.  Finish it for Monday.  Remember, I don’t care that it looks perfect.  I don’t care how quick you do it.  I want you to think about it and make some connections the best you can.  Don’t just try to look it up on google.  Put some effort into it.  Think it through.

Monday we’ll talk about 4-5 and 4-6 (because they go together) and I’ll check guided notes for 4-4, 4-5, and 4-6.

Today you took the 4-1 to 4-3 quiz.

Tomorrow we probably won’t have school.  Be safe.

There’s a special schedule Thursday for the AMC 10.

Guded notes for 4-4 will be checked Thursday.  Guided notes from 4-5 and 4-6 will be checked Monday.

Today we reviewed/practiced ideas from the past and saw an example of how things can translate waves from one form to another (rubens tube).

We probably won’t have school tomorrow.  Be safe.

AMC 12 is Thursday, so pay attention to the schedule.

Test Friday.
