{"id":1763,"date":"2020-04-20T15:57:20","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T19:57:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/simsa\/?p=1763"},"modified":"2020-04-20T17:13:41","modified_gmt":"2020-04-20T21:13:41","slug":"duvall-cares-to-the-core","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/simsa\/2020\/04\/20\/duvall-cares-to-the-core\/","title":{"rendered":"DuVall Cares to the Core"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>April 23rd was scheduled to be our District\u2019s Care to the Core Day.&nbsp; On April 23rd, our district celebrates the way our school communities come together to show that we care about our students and community.&nbsp; Despite the shutdown, we want to continue this tradition because it is so important to help show that we care for members of our school community during this unprecedented time!&nbsp; On April 23rd, we are asking students and their families to show our thanks for our first responders, doctors, and nurses who are helping members of our community as we are trying to stop the spread of COVID 19.&nbsp; Here is what you can do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Make a sign that thanks our first responders, doctors, and nurses (be creative).<\/li><li>You may take a picture of your child with the sign and send it to your teacher\u2019s email or atteer@dearbornschools.org to have the picture on the DuVall blog.\u00a0 You may also e-mail the picture to members of our staff\/school families who work in local hospitals and will print your picture or message to share with doctors and nurses\u00a0 in the hospital including Ms. Cibasek\u2019s sister Jamie<a href=\"https:\/\/meet.google.com\/linkredirect?authuser=0&amp;dest=mailto%3Ajcibasek%40hotmail.com\"> jamieac07@hotmail.com<\/a>, Mrs. Moon\u2019s friend Sara <a href=\"mailto:sarah.gilbert@stjoeshealth.org\">sarah.gilbert@stjoeshealth.org<\/a>\u00a0 Mrs. Ross\u2019s husband Jeff<a href=\"https:\/\/meet.google.com\/linkredirect?authuser=0&amp;dest=mailto%3Ajeffmross%40hotmail.com\"> jeffmross@hotmail.com<\/a>.\u00a0 Ms. Sims&#8217; niece, Cate, is an EMT in Ann Arbor.
