NEED TO KNOW:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SPELLING: This week\u2019s words will have a \u201cow\u201d sound at the end of the word. Our words are: free, sleep, deep, need, seed, street, speech, sheet. Our bonus words: after, open.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WRITING: We are going to work on informational writing. We will learn about a topic and write a report about it.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
READING: We will work to learn how to make inferences and predictions. We will continue to learn about blends and digraphs.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MATH: There will be a review paper on Monday and the students will have a test given in small groups on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will start Module 4 on Thursday. Module 4 is about place value, comparison, addition and subtraction to 40. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
SCIENCE: We will continue to finish our unit about how the \u201cEarth moves in the sky.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SOCIAL STUDIES: We will complete our maps unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
