SPELLING: This week\u2019s words will have a \u201cck\u201d sound at the end of the word. Our words are: truck, back, duck, check, neck, sock, block, sick Our bonus words: good, please.

WRITING: We are going to work on informational writing. We will learn about a topic and write a report about it.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
READING: Students will learn the different ending sounds (blends and digraphs) to strengthen their reading skills. This week we will continue to work on learning how to analyze the author\u2019s purpose for writing the text and learn how to describe an author\u2019s purpose for using specific illustrations.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MATH: We are working on our Module 3 and we are learning about measurement. Students should complete lessons 1-9 by the end of the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SCIENCE: We will continue to finish our unit about how the \u201cEarth moves in the sky.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SOCIAL STUDIES: We work on our maps unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
