Parents that are driving, please check with Ms. Cathy or Ms. Anne in the office to make sure your paperwork is complete.&nbsp; Thank you!<\/li><li>We will have Math Night on Monday, February 3rd 5:30 &#8211; 6:30 PM.<\/li><li>There will be a late start on Wednesday, February 5th.<\/li><li>Winter break starts at the end of the day on Friday, February 14th and school resumes on Monday, February 24th.<\/li><li>We will have Literacy Night on Thursday, March 5th 5:30 &#8211; 6:30 PM<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>SPELLING:&nbsp; This week\u2019s words will have a \u201clong a\u201d sound made by having a silent \u201ce\u201d at the end of the word. Our words are: make, name, shake, tape, made, cane, rate, same.&nbsp; Our bonus words: want, our.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WRITING:&nbsp; Our \u201chow-to\u201d stories are in the hallway!&nbsp; Mrs. Poisson, the Enrichment teacher, is working on snowman stories also.&nbsp; Those stories will also be in the hallway when they are completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>READING:&nbsp; We will continue to work on comparing and contrasting informational and narrative texts.&nbsp; We will review nouns, verbs, and verb tenses.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MATH:&nbsp; We will continue working on Module 2.&nbsp; It is an introduction to place value through addition and subtraction within 20.&nbsp; We plan on being done with lessons 1-28 by Friday.
