SPELLING: We will do are \u201c-y\u201d words. The words make the long \u201ci\u201d sound. Our words are: my, dry, shy, try, cry, sky, guy, spy. Our bonus words: of, was.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WRITING: We will finish our \u201chow to\u201d writing unit. The children will have \u201chow-to\u201d make a snowman papers in the hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
READING: We will work on comparing and contrasting informational and narrative texts. We will review nouns, verbs, and verb tenses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
MATH: We will continue working on Module 2. It is an introduction to place value through addition and subtraction within 20. We plan on being done with lessons 1-24 by Friday. Please have your child practice math at home to help them with their development at school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SCIENCE: We will finish our unit about how the \u201cEarth moves in the sky.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SOCIAL STUDIES: We will finish working on our Economics unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
