The goal is to collect 30,000 canned goods for Zaman International and $7,600 for the Amity Foundation. The class that collects the most cans at DuVall will win a pizza party. Thanks for your help!<\/li><li>Thanksgiving break starts at the end of school on Tuesday, Nov 26th.&nbsp; We are off on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  School resumes Monday, DECEMBER 2nd (this year is flying by!).<\/li><li>Late start December 18th.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>SPELLING:&nbsp; We will be working on the \u201csh\u201d words.&nbsp; Our words are: she, show, ship, shop, wish, dish, push, brush.&nbsp; Our extra words are: seven, eight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WRITING:&nbsp; We will work on writing our opinion pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>READING:&nbsp; We will learn how to understand the author\u2019s purpose of writing the informational piece, which means we will be learning how to interpretation of information in non-fiction reading.
