My name is Joseph Sicheneder and I&#8217;m currently one of the ninth grade science teachers at Fordson High School in Dearborn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m originally from Rochester Hills, a suburb north of here. I went to school at the University of Michigan &#8211; Ann Arbor, where I got a Bachelor of Science degree in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Evolutionary_anthropology\">Evolutionary Anthropology<\/a> and German.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After working for a while as a street and sidewalk technician, I decided to become a teacher. I went to the University of Michigan &#8211; Flint for two years and got a Master&#8217;s in Education. Then I started teaching in Detroit, since 2014. We also had a ceremony in Jodhpur, India, because my wife&#8217;s family is Indian. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We like to travel. I&#8217;ve been to a lot of places already, and until the COVID-19 crisis had plans to go to other countries.
