Writing: We will be starting our first opinion essay of the year. This week, we will get into the format of an opinion essay. <\/p>\n
Science: This week will be fun! The kids will be creating their own investigation to prove that air is matter. Their materials will be one balloon, a scale, and a tape measure. They’ll also be using their understanding of properties and characteristics. <\/p>\n
Social Studies: We will continue to work on understanding the Federal Government and Constitution. <\/p>\n
We will also be focusing on using compassion and empathy this week during our daily community meetings in our classroom. Each day, we will start with a community meeting to help strengthen our social\/emotional skills. <\/p>\n
