Starting today, students will have a Reading Bag that will be coming home with them. \u00a0Inside the Reading Bag there is a book that your child needs to read at home. \u00a0There is an assignment inside that needs to be completed at home as well. \u00a0Reading Bags will come home every Tuesday, and should be returned every MONDAY. \u00a0Students should read part of the book each night and work on the assignment after the book has been read. \u00a0Both the book and assignment must be returned on Monday in order for me to exchange books\/assignments to go home on Tuesday. \u00a0If your child returns the Reading Bag late, they may not get their new book on time. \u00a0This week’s assignment is to answer the three “Think and Compare” questions at the back of the book. \u00a0Students are to write the answers to each question neatly and in complete sentences on the paper provided. \u00a0Make sure the student’s name and book title are on the top of the paper. \u00a0Please encourage your child to work on this each day. \u00a0Do not wait until Sunday night to read the book and complete the assignment. \u00a0Enjoy reading and learning with your child at home!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
