Today is the first time students have an assignment for homework. \u00a0We reviewed “Number Grids” from second grade and explored how to fill in an empty grid. \u00a0Students should complete HomeLinks 1.2 that was sent home today and return it to school tomorrow.<\/p>\n
I also sent home a letter that explains how to use the math website www.everydaymathonline.com. \u00a0Students and parents often find this website helpful when there is a question about a concept learned in class. \u00a0It also has some wonderful games that will strengthen student’s math skills.<\/p>\n
Students should also read for 15-20 minutes every night!<\/p>\n
Thank you to the families that returned all required paperwork. \u00a0If you have not turned in the Student Information Sheet or Student Emergency Card, please do so as soon as possible. \u00a0If you are opting out of eating breakfast at school, you must sign and return the form that was sent home on Wednesday. \u00a0Also, families must fill in and return one free and\/or reduced lunch form per family as soon as possible if they want to see if they qualify.<\/p>\n
