Reading Bags are due every Monday. \u00a0Students are expected to read the book throughout the week at home, then complete the assignment. \u00a0Many students have not been putting effort into their assignments and are receiving a “4” as their grade. \u00a0Please make sure your child is working to their best ability on all homework.<\/p>\n

Literacy Night is TONIGHT<\/strong> from 5:00-6:00 p.m. \u00a0Lots of fun activities for the family that involve literacy. \u00a0I hope to see you there!<\/p>\n

Parent Teacher Conferences are this Thursday, March 26th. \u00a0If you have not received an invitation from me, you do NOT need to come to conferences. \u00a0If you have a specific question or concern you may stop by anytime between 4:00-7:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Silvia<\/strong> for being the first student to pass all of her three minute multiplication and division tests. \u00a0She is the first member of the “Math Wizards Club<\/strong>“!!!<\/p>\n

Spirit Week <\/strong>is coming up starting Monday, March 30<\/span><\/span> <\/span>and ending Thursday, April 2<\/span><\/span><\/span>!\u00a0 Be part of the fun!\u00a0 We are using this week as a fund raising effort for the PBIS Program.\u00a0 We are asking for 50 cents per day to participate, or $2.00 for the four days.\u00a0 Money can be given to the classroom teacher.\u00a0 Everyone is asked to dress for a theme each day:<\/div>\n

There will be ONE Spirit Award <\/strong>given to the class with the highest percentage of participation.<\/div>\n

Our PBIS Reward Party for March will be on Thursday, April 2<\/span><\/span>, from 2:45-3:15pm<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 Weather permitting it will be RECESS for ALL!<\/div>\n
