Book Orders were sent home last Friday. \u00a0The due date for turning in Book Order forms and money is Friday, October 10th. \u00a0You can also order and pay online using the set up code on the information sheet that was sent home. \u00a0If you’ve lost it, the website is scholastic.com\/readingclub. \u00a0Our activation code is J2NPV.<\/p>\n
The third grade classes are taking a field trip to Wiard’s Apple Orchard on Thursday, October 23rd. \u00a0All permission slips and money needs to be turned in by Friday, October 10th. \u00a0If you are a chaperone, you need to fill out the Criminal\u00a0Conviction History Form and take it the office by Friday, October 10th. \u00a0The cost is $9.25 per person, which includes cider and doughnut, small pumpkin, hayride, mini golf, petting farm, corn maze, play area and more. \u00a0Students must bring a sack lunch with a disposable drink on the day of the field trip.<\/p>\n
This Wednesday, October 1st is a Late Start day. \u00a0The first bell will ring at 9:35 a.m. \u00a0Breakfast will NOT be served in the classroom. \u00a0Breakfast will be served in the cafeteria starting at 9:00 a.m.<\/p>\n
There is NO SCHOOL this Friday, October 3rd and next Monday, October 6th.<\/p>\n
Our first PBIS party will be this Wednesday, October 1st. \u00a0Students must stay on green at least 15 days throughout the month of September to be invited to the party. \u00a0Please see the information about how the incentives have changed this year on the post marked “PBIS Incentives” on the blog. \u00a0Students who have not stayed on green the minimum number of days will stay back with a teacher to discuss what they can do to improve their behavior in order to attend the next celebration.<\/p>\n
Our first Math Test is tomorrow (Tuesday, September 30th). \u00a0We went over the answers to the study guide together in class today and discussed any questions the students had. \u00a0I was disappointed to see that 9 out of 24 students did not complete and\/or return their study guide to school. \u00a0In the future, please make sure that any study guides sent home are completed and returned so we can go over the correct answers together.<\/p>\n
A Student Reading Log will be coming home today. \u00a0Students are expected to read 15-20 minutes a night, \u00a0fill out their reading logs Monday-Thursday, and have a parent initial each night their child read. \u00a0Each child who reads and\u00a0gets their parent initials for all 4 days, will receive a blue ticket every Friday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
