{"id":414,"date":"2014-09-08T15:09:17","date_gmt":"2014-09-08T19:09:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/shenew\/?p=414"},"modified":"2014-09-08T15:09:17","modified_gmt":"2014-09-08T19:09:17","slug":"week-of-september-8-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/shenew\/2014\/09\/08\/week-of-september-8-12\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of September 8-12"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you for signing up for my blog! \u00a0Every Monday I will post a weekly blog \u00a0that states the spelling words for the week, important dates to remember, and fun things going on in the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Spelling words (long \/a\/ and short \/a\/ sound): \u00a0lane, ate, trap, tape, can<\/p>\n<p>Academic spelling words: \u00a0fiction, number, count, force, Michigan<\/p>\n<p>There will be 5 &#8220;Mystery words&#8221; on Friday&#8217;s spelling test that will follow the long \/a\/ and short \/a\/ patterns.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Today we started switching classes with Mrs. Grizzell&#8217;s class for Science and Social Studies. \u00a0The class will stay with me for Social Studies from 12:50-1:30, then they will go to Mrs. Grizzell&#8217;s class where she will teach them Science from 1:30-2:10. \u00a0We will be switching classes Monday &#8211; Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This Wednesday, September 10th is our first Late Start day. \u00a0The first bell will ring at 9:35 a.m. \u00a0Breakfast will NOT be served in the classroom. \u00a0Students may purchase breakfast in the cafeteria starting at 9:00 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thursday, September 18th is Open House Night from 5:00-6:30 p.m. \u00a0Please stop by anytime to visit the classroom and meet the teacher!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you for signing up for my blog! \u00a0Every Monday I will post a weekly blog \u00a0that states the spelling words for the week, important dates to remember, and fun things going on in the classroom.
