of February 4-8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Due to the shortened week last week from Snow\/Cold days, our spelling words will remain the same for this week.\u00a0 We will add another activity in Spelling iLearn and activities in Google Classroom to continue to study the spelling patterns.<\/p>\n<p>Spelling Words (\/il\/ and \/ile\/ patterns):\u00a0 docile, profile, gerbil, fragile, council, pupil, pencil, mobile, hostile, tonsil<\/p>\n<p>Content Words:\u00a0 solid, liquid, gas, matter, heating, cooling<\/p>\n<p>All NWEA testing will be completed by this Wednesday.\u00a0 A report will be sent home next week for you to see your child&#8217;s progress in Reading, Math, Language, and Science.<\/p>\n<p>Report cards went home last week.\u00a0 Please make sure your child gave you their report card and you have gone over it with your child as a family.<\/p>\n<p>New Reading Groups are starting today based on NWEA Reading scores.\u00a0 Some students have moved into a different group.\u00a0 Students are expected to read their assigned book every night and complete the assignments on time.\u00a0 I was very pleased on how many students showed growth in Reading on the NWEA.\u00a0 To continue showing growth, we will use iReady in school, and students should go onto iReady at home as well.<\/p>\n<p>Reminder that students are expected to complete 2-3 lessons on Zearn.org every week.\u00a0 This is a part of their Math grade.\u00a0 Any students who do not complete the required amount of lessons will work on Zearn in school during indoor recess\/free time.<\/p>\n<p>A note went home last Friday about our Valentine&#8217;s Day party:<\/p>\n<p>Valentine\u2019s Day Class Party<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, February 14<sup>th<\/sup> our class will have a Valentine\u2019s Day party in the morning since it is a half day of school.\u00a0 Students may bring in Valentine\u2019s cards and\/or candy to pass out to students in the class.\u00a0 We have 26
