Students will be completing NWEA testing this week with Science.\u00a0 Once all testing is completed, a report will be sent home with your child’s currect RIT scores.\u00a0 Please compare the scores with the Fall 2018 scores to see if you’re child has shown growth.\u00a0 There will be one more round of NWEA testing in the Spring.<\/p>\n
Due to NWEA testing, I will be reorganizing our reading groups.\u00a0 Therefore, students will not have Reading Bag assignments this week.\u00a0 Students should read books of their choice for 20-30 minutes and continue to fill out their Reading Logs.<\/p>\n
Remember that it is your child’s responsibility to turn in all homework on time.\u00a0 Late or missing work will affect your child’s grades.\u00a0 Students who do not turn in their work on time will clip down to yellow and miss recess\/inside free time to complete the work.<\/p>\n
Students should be completing their Spelling iLearn assignments by Friday.\u00a0 Students are given plenty of time in class to complete each assignment.\u00a0 However, if the assignments are not done by Thursday in class, it is the child’s responsibility to complete the assignments online at home to be submitted by Friday.\u00a0 Due to the Snow Day this week, students will only have to complete 2 assignments in Spelling iLearn.<\/p>\n
