{"id":2746,"date":"2018-11-26T07:42:35","date_gmt":"2018-11-26T12:42:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/shenew\/?p=2746"},"modified":"2018-11-26T07:42:35","modified_gmt":"2018-11-26T12:42:35","slug":"week-of-november-26-30","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/shenew\/2018\/11\/26\/week-of-november-26-30\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of November 26-30"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Thanksgiving to all of the families that celebrate!\u00a0 I hope everyone had a restful and relaxing time off!<\/p>\n<p>Spelling Words (\/ar\/ and \/or\/ patterns):\u00a0 conductor, harbor, cheddar, odor, avatar, elevator, collar, aviator, grammar, guitar<\/p>\n<p>Content Words:\u00a0 tenths, hundredths, thousandths, smallest, largest<\/p>\n<p>We will be starting Module 3 in Math today which is mainly about multiplication and division.\u00a0 It is time to start studying and reviewing multiplication facts with your child.\u00a0 Students learned multiplication in third grade and must have these facts memorized in order to build on that knowledge in fourth grade.\u00a0 A fun website to help them practice is called\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arcademics.com\/\">https:\/\/www.arcademics.com\/<\/a>.\u00a0 This website has lots of interactive games that improve the speed and accuracy of knowing multiplication facts.\u00a0 Students can also go onto MobyMax and go onto Fact Fluency to practice multiplication.<\/p>\n<p>We will be starting Unit 3 in Social Studies about the Human Geography of the United States.<\/p>\n<p>We are wrapping up our study of Energy in Science this next few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>We will begin Reading Literature in our Reading workbooks today.\u00a0 This week we will be discussing dramas and characters&#8217; traits.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Thanksgiving to all of the families that celebrate!\u00a0 I hope everyone had a restful and relaxing time off!
