The Math Quiz taken last Friday will be coming home today.\u00a0 Please go over the test with your child so you can review what they did right and what they struggled with.\u00a0 There will not be a retake opportunity.\u00a0 We will be taking an End of Module Math test this Thursday over everything we have done in Module 1 since the beginning of the year which includes estimating by rounding, comparing (<, >, =), addition, subtraction, tape diagrams, word problems.\u00a0 Please use students’ Exit Tickets, checked and returned Homework sheets, and the students’ Learn Math books to help study for the test.<\/p>\n
There will be a Social Studies Vocabulary quiz tomorrow (Tuesday).\u00a0 Students can use their S.S. notebooks that have word cards #1-34 glued in, or they can use the Quizlet practice website which can be accessed through my Google Classroom.\u00a0 Students have already been studying in class on Quizlet.<\/p>\n
We will building chain reactions in Science on Thursday.\u00a0 Students may bring in items from home to be part of their team’s chain reaction.\u00a0 Suggested items are dominoes, toy cars, things that roll or can be knocked down.\u00a0 All items will be returned after the team’s chain reactions have been tested.<\/p>\n
Reminder that the Book Fair is today through Wednesday.\u00a0 Our class will be visiting the Book Fair TOMORROW from 9:25-9:45 a.m.\u00a0 Please send money to school with your child tomorrow if they plan on purchasing items from the book fair.\u00a0 Otherwise, students and families can visit the book fair after school on Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Reminder that Wednesday, October 31st is Halloween.\u00a0 Students may wear their costumes to school.\u00a0 They will NOT be able to change into their costumes at school since we only have one bathroom.\u00a0 Students are not allowed to wear masks or makeup and they may not bring any weapons to school.\u00a0 Thank you to the families that have signed up to bring in treats for our afternoon Halloween party.\u00a0 The link is below:<\/p>\n
