Students took their first Math Quiz last Friday.\u00a0 I have graded the quiz and will be sending it home today.\u00a0 Many students did an excellent job, but many students also failed the quiz with the grade of a 4.\u00a0 Students who received a 4 will have to have a parent sign their test and return it by Wednesday.\u00a0 I will be giving an optional Math Re-test tomorrow for students who scored lower than they should have.\u00a0 Any student may retake the test.<\/p>\n
Reminder that all students should be reading every night and filling out their Reading Logs with a parent initialing that the student read.\u00a0 Also, parents should be signing Student Planners daily.\u00a0 This is our main form of communication and it is important that parents check their child’s work regularly.<\/p>\n
Thank you to the families that have already turned in their DTE Home Energy Think Worksheets.\u00a0 Remember that families have until November 23rd to fill out these sheets and return them to class or you have the option of filling out the sheet online.\u00a0 If all students return these sheets on time, our class will receive $100.00 to purchase items for OUR classroom.\u00a0 We need everyone’s help!<\/p>\n
