Kit Fundraiser orders are due tomorrow, March 27th.<\/p>\n<p>There is no library check out this week.\u00a0 Instead, we will be visiting the Scholastic Book Fair in the Media Center tomorrow from 9:00-9:20 a.m.\u00a0 Please send money to school with your child tomorrow if they plan on purchasing books from the book fair.<\/p>\n<p>All School Book Bingo for March is Reading Month has been moved to Wednesday, March 28th from 2:30-3:15 due to the parent meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 29th in the cafeteria.<\/p>\n<p>Our class will be attending a field trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) organized by Ms. Zechar on April 13th.\u00a0 This is a free field trip to all students and chaperones.\u00a0 We are looking for chaperones to attend this field trip with us.\u00a0 A permission slip will be coming home today.\u00a0 If you plan on chaperoning, please make sure you have a current background check on file in the office.\u00a0 Background checks are good for three years.\u00a0 We have 2 buses to take 4 classes on this trip.\u00a0 There may be room for some chaperones to ride the bus.\u00a0 Otherwise, chaperones my drive separately or car pool.<\/p>\n<p>5th grade Safety and Service Squad field trip to the Tigers game is May 2nd.\u00a0 Please turn in your permission slips if you plan on attending.\u00a0 Parent chaperones should sign up on the SignUp the Tigers game, because the tickets are a limited quantity.<\/p>\n<p>There is NO SCHOOL for Spring Break is March 30th-April 6th.\u00a0 Students will return to school on April 9th.<\/p>\n<p>M-Step for 5th graders will begin the week we return from Spring Break.\u00a0 Students will test every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the morning for ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science.\u00a0 It is important that your child eat a healthy breakfast, get a good night&#8217;s sleep, attend school on time, and bring a water bottle to school with them during these testing days.\u00a0 It would be greatly appreciated if you did not schedule any appointments for your child to miss school during these testing dates.\u00a0 Testing for 5th grade will be three weeks, then fourth graders will begin testing for M-Step the week of April 30th.<\/p>\n<p>Reminder that tonight is Snow Literacy Night from 4:00-5:10 p.m.\u00a0 Please stop by in the lobby to register and receive you ticket to be punched
