{"id":1485,"date":"2017-01-23T08:31:50","date_gmt":"2017-01-23T13:31:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/shenew\/?p=1485"},"modified":"2017-01-23T08:32:21","modified_gmt":"2017-01-23T13:32:21","slug":"week-of-january-23-27","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/shenew\/2017\/01\/23\/week-of-january-23-27\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of January 23-27"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Spelling words (\/al\/ pattern): \u00a0neutral, fatal, numeral, although, almonds<\/p>\n<p>Academic words: \u00a0executive, legislative, judicial, separate, balance<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to the Elhaddi family for donating goldfish crackers to the class for students who do not bring in snack from home!<\/p>\n<p>We will be trying something different this week to prepare for our Unit 5 Math Test. \u00a0I usually send home the Study Guide, however many students do not complete the Study Guide and\/or forget to bring it back to school. \u00a0Therefore, tomorrow we will complete the Unit 5 Study Guide together in class, students will take it home to study, and the test will be on Thursday. \u00a0Students will not need to return the Study Guide to class.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a Science Quiz this Wednesday. \u00a0Study Guides were sent home last Friday by Mrs. Smith.<\/p>\n<p>ALL Science Fair Projects are due this Wednesday, January 25th! \u00a0Students will present their projects in class for a grade. \u00a0Science Fair Night is Thursday, January 26th. \u00a0It will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the gym with a presentation about Science. \u00a0Afterwards, families may walk throughout the school to see projects on display.<\/p>\n<p>The NWEA Math test is scheduled for this Wednesday afternoon in our class.<\/p>\n<p>Reminder: \u00a0Friday, January 27th is a half day. \u00a0Students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spelling words (\/al\/ pattern): \u00a0neutral, fatal, numeral, although, almonds Academic words: \u00a0executive, legislative, judicial, separate, balance Thank you to the Elhaddi family for donating goldfish crackers to the class for students who do not bring in snack from home!
