The class with the most\u00a0box\u00a0tops\u00a0gets a PIZZA PARTY!\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n March 3rd<\/strong>: Coffee with the Principal – Waste Free Lunch\/New Lunch choices at 8:30-9:30am<\/p>\n\n\n\n March 5th<\/strong>: Literacy Night throughout DuVall at 5:00-6:00pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n March 13th<\/strong>: 1\/2 Day <\/p>\n\n\n\n March 18th<\/strong>: Late Start Day <\/p>\n\n\n\n Thursday April 16th<\/strong>: Lifetouch Spring Pictures<\/p>\n\n\n\n *Raz-Kids: Please make sure to spend 10-15 minutes a night reading and enjoying Raz-Kids as well as reading packs and personal libraries. This week, we will work really hard to take out old books and begin rebuilding the books in our reading packs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n LA\/Writing:<\/strong> This week we will continue writing story problems in writer\u2019s workshop as well as beginning a story about leprechaun\u2019s for March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Spelling: <\/strong>This week we will be studying the -op family<\/strong> (bop, cop, hop, mop, pop, sop, top, stop)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Math:\u00a0<\/strong>Module 4 cont. about using tools such as the 5 and 10 frames and number bonds to compose, decompose and add\/subtract combos of 5 and 10. Homework packets are due Monday and your child received a new pack of 5 lessons tomyesterday as well as a new math game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Social Studies:\u00a0<\/strong>Cont. Where am I? Unit. Please continue to send in your child\u2019s personal map of their bedroom. We have really been enjoying sharing our maps and using our position words to describe where things are in our rooms. For those students who have not sent in the assignment, I\u2019ll resend it to you this week to make sure your child receives full credit!
