Important Dates\/Reminders:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Friday 2-14-2020:\u00a0<\/strong>Valentine\u2019s Day! Students will be enjoying Valentine\u2019s themed activities throughout the day. We\u2019ll be passing out Valentines cards in the morning and enjoying a treat before lunch \ud83d\ude42 If you would like to send in a card or treat please make sure to send in one for each child. we have 23 students. Here are some food free ideas OR candies to choose from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n heart pencils, mini erasers, Hershey\u2019s milk chocolate kisses, dum dum suckers, Jolly Rancher hard candies, skittles, smarties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pennies for pasta\/the mini boxes- Any money you would like to donate goes to cancer foundation. Winning class gets a pasta party. Donations ends on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Raz-Kids: Please make sure to spend 10-15 minutes a night reading and enjoying Raz-Kids as well as reading packs and personal libraries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Monday 10\/17-10\/21<\/strong>: Mid Winter Break! Mandatory relaxation and fun with families \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thursday April 16th<\/strong>: Lifetouch Spring Pictures<\/p>\n\n\n\n LA\/Writing:<\/strong> This week we will continue writing story problems in writer\u2019s workshop as well as letters\/cards to loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Spelling: <\/strong>This week we will be studying the -ig family<\/strong> (big, dig, fig, gig, jig, pig, rig, wig)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Math:\u00a0<\/strong>Module 4 cont. about using tools such as the 5 and 10 frames and number bonds to compose, decompose and add\/subtract combos of 5 and 10. Homework packets are due tomorrow and your child will received a new pack of 5 lessons on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Social Studies:\u00a0<\/strong>Cont. Where am I? Unit. Please make sure to send in your child\u2019s personal map of their bedroom. I can\u2019t wait to see how great they look!<\/p>\n\n\n\n *Also, I am still collecting the 100 items for the 100th day of school.
