As may beings this week, so does our end of the year ABC countdown! Please keep it at home somewhere that you can check every night, so that your child can participate in our daily fun!\u00a0Here is what\u2019s cooking this week in kindergarten. Homework<\/strong>: This\u00a0<\/i><\/b>week your child will receive a new math packet and math game.<\/p>\n Popcorn:\u00a0 Popcorn might be on this week so lets plan on it unless I send out an update\u00a0\ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Library check out<\/strong>: This week we had check out so make sure books are back in the bags Monday night and ready to go Tuesday morning first thing!<\/p>\n Reading Packs<\/strong>: Make sure your child is spending about 10-15 minutes reading at night the books, letters\/words you find in the reading packs. This will help your child SO much reviewing their personal bags each night! All bags have been switched so make sure you child is practicing books they receive this week.<\/p>\n Spelling<\/strong>: -ed word family: red, bed, led, fed, wed, sled. Sight words blue, black<\/p>\n LA Book: Cont.\u00a0<\/strong>Informational books about plants and animals<\/p>\n Writing<\/strong>: Informational writing. Plants and Animals (Publishing Ladybug Story Problems), Writing about Mothers shh! It\u2019s a secret I really can\u2019t say\u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Social Studies<\/strong>: Unit 1: Who am I? Lesson 2\/3 Cont. \u201cI Go to School\u201d children explore their role as a student, preparing and going to school, regions of the classroom and reflecting on something they like about their classroom.<\/p>\n New Science Unit<\/strong>: Earth and Space Science: Interdependent Relationships in Ecosystems: Animals, Plants and their Environments (Cont. Animal Mysteries!)<\/p>\n *Guiding Essential Question\/Content<\/strong>: 1. Where do animals live and why do they live there? 2.
