{"id":528,"date":"2018-08-15T16:28:11","date_gmt":"2018-08-15T20:28:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/shannonpeterson\/?p=528"},"modified":"2018-08-15T16:31:07","modified_gmt":"2018-08-15T20:31:07","slug":"summer-book-club","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/shannonpeterson\/2018\/08\/15\/summer-book-club\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer Book Club"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What did you do this summer?\u00a0 Dearborn Public School students and figure skating friends, spent the summer reading the book &#8220;Pie&#8221; by Sarah Weeks.\u00a0 As a culminating activity, the girls learned how to bake cherry pies and chocolate chess pies.\u00a0 Both pies were inspired by recipes from the book.\u00a0 The best part, these girls represent multiple schools from Dearborn.\u00a0 The young scholars and bakers who participated were:\u00a0 Jillian and Bella from Bryant, Olivia from O.L.
