{"id":250,"date":"2016-11-22T13:29:33","date_gmt":"2016-11-22T18:29:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/shannonpeterson\/?p=250"},"modified":"2016-11-22T13:29:33","modified_gmt":"2016-11-22T18:29:33","slug":"congratulations-bryant-national-junior-honor-society-inductees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/shannonpeterson\/2016\/11\/22\/congratulations-bryant-national-junior-honor-society-inductees\/","title":{"rendered":"Congratulations Bryant National Junior Honor Society Inductees:"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday, November 17th, twenty new students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society at Bryant Middle School. \u00a0Membership is based on the five pillars of NJHS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Scholarship<br \/>\n<\/strong>Per national guidelines, at a minimum, students must have a cumulative GPA of 85, B, 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent standard of excellence. (Each school chapter is allowed to require a higher cumulative GPA.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Service<br \/>\n<\/strong>This involves voluntary contributions made by a student to the school or community, done without compensation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leadership<br \/>\n<\/strong>Student leaders are those who are resourceful, good problem solvers, and idea contributors.
